Valverde the only Movistar rider in break?
Its a shame Valverde and Martin doesnt have helpers there who could work in valley before Mortirolo to mane the gap bigger (and potentially forvente Ineos to work harder for GC)

But he winked to the camera - with his left eye! Which according to Worre is difficult if you're best at winking with your right eye...

Unfortunately, I don't know whether Almeida is a natural right-eyed winker.

But he was clearly winking with both eyes, which I have found to be quite easy.

Bardiani have had a 2nd and 6th place so far in this Giro.
they are doing alright indeed, and I also don't see what's supposed to change. Strengthen the PT teams would be nice, but that doesn't come out of nowhere.

Not sure how Cepeda manages to be so good in the smaller races but completely suck in the Giro every year, though.

Completely forgot he was in the race, still only 23 so let’s see how he develops.

Maybe I shouldn´t have been as harsh but stages like todays really show how big the gap to other teams is. Bardiani had some solid results. Smart not to mention Androni. They really aren´t doing anything. I don´t think they will change anything. Continue to invite Italian teams. But considering that other PT teams are a lot better I would prefer to see a more competitive focus instead.
