Bizarrely anonymous breakaway. Nobody within an hour on GC up the road and arguably nobody who can climb other than Valter and Bouwman with the latter likely already shattered from the previous efforts in the Giro.

Not only that. Also no-one from Bahrain, BORA, Astana who could support a longe-range attack on Kolovrat.

My "I wish" predictor says Bora are going to light this stage up with a team steamroller effort soon, so they need everyone in the train (like they did last weekend).

If not, yawn.

I think there are teams and riders that would like to start tomorrow's stage with the idea of what they'll be up against.
Meaning there may be some strong efforts.

Gotta say, at least I'm glad that the remaining sprinters didn't pull out of the Giro after yesterday.

Finally we'll see a last place in GC 7 hours down

He's either sick or they're saving him for tomorrow.
Regardless, sky only have Sivakov left at the top climbing level so someone should have a crack.
