To be fair with regards to the complaints about the coverage: What exactly had the GC group to offer? A half arsed Buchmann attack? Ineos chuchuing? Yates rubbing his knee? Didn't bother me too much that they were focussing on the front guys.

This stage needed to be directed by David Lynch...........Embarassing camera work.
When the French are sending people to produce our races they aren't sending their best...
As much TV time for Landa as possibleTo be fair with regards to the complaints about the coverage: What exactly had the GC group to offer? A half arsed Buchmann attack? Ineos chuchuing? Yates rubbing his knee? Didn't bother me too much that they were focussing on the front guys.
Should have saved Richie for the tougher stages where he could do more damage but this is the Ineos way. Bury the domestiques unnecessarily on every stage for reasons unknown.............Ineos are so stupid again. They pull all climb for nothing except to drop Nibali and Dumoulin, meanwhile their rivals do nothing except a little sprint on the finale to maintain the form

Mollema is not going for GC at all though.Tbf, making it a bit harder to see if Yates was feeling the crash wasn't a bad idea.
Nibali still finished ahead of Mollema, at least that's something.
I had the feeling they would miss it if something did happen. You know most of the times you catch the moment of an attack, even 'the look's, instead of getting the cut after the action happen. Today they didn't even give a sense of anticipation.
I'd say Foss will keep fighting for 10th place, he's not really someone who strikes me as a useful stage hunter.Astana's team is so crap all they can do is go in breakaways really. Jumbo probably same but they also have the TT to potentially win a stage
Yeah, it's very easy to be smart-assed after the stage and say that nothing happened.
I want to see what the favourites look like, if they seem fresh or laboured, and that was just impossible today.
It's an absolute no-brainer that the peloton should have a lot of coverage on a MTF.
Also, we should see who was dropped and for a longer time than what they chose to show.
Hopefully, so Van der Poel can stop thinking he should do lead-outs for him for some strange reasonIs Mareczko really going to be outside the time limit?
Yeah, sadly I know that!Mollema is not going for GC at all though.
With Wout often even having bad days in one week stage races you never know if they are saving him or if he has a bad day.Poels +16 minutes. Landa, Bilbao and Buitrago were strong, I am hoping they are just saving wout like Sky used to do and there is no issues
Nah I don’t know. I think they also do this to reduce the stress in stages to come. They got rid of quite a few teams with GC ambitions here like Jumbo, Cofidis, Astana. So now they have established themselves as the team that controls the race, which is what they like.
Jakub could have the best sprint train in the world and he'd still manage to loose it's wheel, he just sucks at positioning himself before a sprint.Hopefully, so Van der Poel can stop thinking he should do lead-outs for him for some strange reason
The deal would be that they would work together and not play games. If Kämna hadn't taken a single pull, Taaramäe could maybe have challenged the stage win, and Lopez's buffer for defending pink would be smaller.Don't see how there could have been a deal: Kamna had nothing to offer (Lopez had control of the jersey whatever Kamna did), and Lopez obviously looked fed up at having messed up his sprint for the stage.
Is Mareczko really going to be outside the time limit?
What a Giro for MareckzoKuba not even OTL, straight DNF.
Without having to babysit him, Alpecin to spice things up in Portella Mandrazzi tomorrow?
