I can't say you missed anything, except pretty landscape.

Yeah but 6-7 minutes is actually a pretty long climb for Ewan to be pretty decent at.Naa he's always horrible on longer climbs. Climbing worse than Cav a bit weird tho.

Really didn't think Ewan would be dropped here, and he look strong on that stage 1 finish pre crash. He's usually a much better climber than Cavendish too.
I have Ewan as being Yates levels of inconsistent with his climbing.
Remember Tirreno 2021, where was climbing like a Mareczko in the stage to Gualdo Tadino, only to be one of the best in the Poggio in MSR the week after.
Even this year he looked strong in the climbs in the 1st stage of Tour des Alpes Maritimes.
I assumed Quickstep must have given up to be more than 2 mins behind still but it seems they're still trying. They've got most their team chasing but gained nothing
