Alaphilippe is going to be triple WCh so it would be a shame for him to win and hide the jersey a whole year.

Van Aert is not riding because of his "injury" so all money on Merlier

And in more serious news, the (men's) Road Race in Denmark has basically gone from "All of the pros!" to "None* of the pros..."

*There will be some pros riding. Mads Pedersen will be riding, so will Cort.

That's a shame. Was hoping Kragh Andersen might try and win it as a 'look what you could have had' gesture to DSM.

Pretty much the same as last year and when Formolo won the NC, +40° at the Italian NC has happened multiple times over the last few years.

Interesting race in the French women’s race, group of 5 with Cordon Ragot went clear on climb with 10k to go, chase group of 6. This looks like it will be a sprinter’s course for the men—climbs are not difficult.

Honestly, it depends. Sometimes Bolzano, Bologna and Padova for example are often some of the hottest towns of Italy.
