but alot of the Pog dominance we see like today is down to how the chasing pack reacts to when he goes off the front like that.

and it feels alot like how the womens races went last year when van Vleuten just rode off and won races with equal apparent ease, as the chasers all convinced themselves either she wont make it this far out, or wont be catchable anyway because shes too good for us, and it becomes like a reinforcing mental block, because it keeps happening, its like oh she/Pogs got the lead, so its about podium places for the rest of us.

throw in alot of riders just arent prepared to take that high risk gamble of chucking a good position away in a race to try and reel someone back when you know it probably means you sacrifice your chances of winning, and you get races like this.

the difference with the cyclocross boys, is they do like to take risks, and probably would have in that cliche term animated the race differently such that Pog wouldnt have been able to just ride like this.

Great win for Pog! And I think the race has been more entertaining, than some will like to admit. Especially the last 100k, with the big crash that blew the race apart

Well I don't see crashes as entertaining, especially if favorites are involved. The only suspense moment was Alaph chasing peloton after crash. When Pogi attacked the race was over.

I didnt mean that the crash itself was entertaining, obviously.

Chapeau, dominant performance, and great to see Valverde come in second.

Beginning to wonder whether Pog would have a shot at Roubaix, never mind Flanders or LBL.
