Ayuso vs Almeida soap opera already getting the engines starting at Eurosport Portugal
I love all this drama already unfolding
I'd wish they made a fuss about the jersey instead, as you know :joycat:

Somehow I don't expect the AA drama to be that big in the end, but we'll see :joycat:

I expect Ayuso to do well today, just saying :D

That was 5% and the last 400m were flat or even a bit downhill. I don't see how that's similar to today's finish.
He had that one won before the downhill bit, and was posting up well before the finish. And I remembered it being steeper, so sue me. And it's irrelevant now because he's sat up.

Trek are riding for Pedersen now, so they must think it's a finish where a sprinter can compete.

Maybe he isn't the new Pogacar? A 19 year old getting dropped here is nothing strange. He managed to hang on anyway.

People getting dropped usually look like that.
He's a big talent. You should look up his results in case you don't know him. He definitely shouldn't get dropped here under normal circumstances, but sure, maybe he's just in really poor form. I doubt that's the reason, though.
