Carapaz and Ineos was never a great fit. He is a bit of a free spirited maverick whereas Ineos are all about grinding out tempo and riding with total control. I'm guessing that was frustration as he knows he's out the door in a few months.

Lovely, green, hilly scenery right now as they are climbing, nice shots from the heli.

(Also, seeing as I missed yesterday's stage live I have to mention the reservoir they showed at 22.2 km to go, the structure was fascinating and quite eye-catching.)

Good to hear, and not too surprising. Probably most of the kids in Milan and Bergamo have similar posters nowadays, Fausto is a role model with his attitude.

Wouldn't be surprised if Van Aert's son has a Masnada poster in his room in 5 years.
