Not sure what Trek was doing here. Pedersen wasting energy, Skjelmose following attack but not helping to just then see Pedersen ride a horrible sprint.

Would've been Hilarious. Skjelmose 2 days in a row following 2 attacks of Van Moer (and not pulling) just to let Waerenskjold go right after.

Wæerenskojold inexplicably stopping his attack, Skjelmose riding defensively and Mads P racing and particuarly sprinting with no sense of tactics. Yes, thats how you make it look this easy for Fabio.

Mads wasting energy with multiple attacks and Skjelmose chasing attackers so that Jakobsen can win stages?
Wærenskjold is the perfect GC rider in minor stage races. Strong solo rider, strong time trialist, strong sprinter. His only weakness seems to be bigger climbs.

I would somewhat understand if Skjelmose wasn't a super TTer himself, but he is. Like why not just ride with Van Moer 2 days in a row? He would beat him tomorrow and in TT probably anyways. Now they don't a stage and will probably lose GC too.
There aren't many stage races where the hardest stage is something like tomorrow. And there's a reason for that btw. Stage races where GCs are decided by a TT only are pretty boring. Butchered Renewi Tour is perfect for him tho.
Søren Kragh admitting that their attack before the circuit probably did more damage to his own team than it did to others.

Well... my "At least one stage win by someone with the name Pedersen" prediction is looking worse and worse...
I like it actually. It does take away some of the intensity, but it gives us a much better overview.
The tactics of the duo Skjelmose/Pedersen are most of the time the opposite of what seems wise. Including the race in Glasgow. So today's attacks of Mads Pedersen made sense in the sense that they didn't make sense.

Except we have no idea when the line is coming and can only see three or four riders.
Maybe the best angle would be slightly from behind instead of right above the riders.
I guess a split screen isn't realistic.
