Well it worked so it was the right move. But Lidl-Trek have set their risk setting to high in this race.

Yes, it was just me thinking Conti and Cort had far more in the legs in the very moment of Skjellmoses attack.
But Skjellmose clearly had a clear sense he could do the clear jump over Kiddesvej.

A Skjelmose as last starter, being pretty OK within the ITT discipline already I would not opt that as an intentional plan.

To be fair, these guys are some of the best in this kind of terrain. Only below Pog, Wout, Mathieu and perhaps Laporte.
