An OTL is not impossible for Cav with that time. Winning time of 43:26 or faster would do it, even if the sub-42 minute winning time I've seen predicted seems overly optimistic to me he might have enjoyed himself a little too much.

I never liked Cav at all, but I really really hope this doesn't happen to him. That would suck so much.

Edit: ok just no read that the time limit was increased. 50% seems very much to me though. Like to much for professionals. But I get why they'd want to save the sprinters on the last day, especially because this TT is a bit nuts isn't it.

I won't fuel the stress anymore than there already is tbh, i.e. there's plenty to be concerned about with this ITT without adding an extra layer of "oh my god did Rog cook himself already in his recon?" on top of this.

Who knows, maybe the bigger gaps will be created on the flatter sections where some speed can be carried through corners. I don't know.
