Always thought Roglic would have the edge in this sort of TT but a great finish and great performances by the top 10. The race needed a stage like that and all of the TT stages were good. One of Pinot's best TTs in a long time. Gutsy ride by Thomas but Roglic was on one of those days and even the bike trouble wasn't going to stop him.

It has to be said, as much as I love this outcome and the drama - the coverage of this stage was the icing on a horrendous Giro. Like, show the riders, give us the fecking time gaps between Thomas and Roglic. Just incredibly bad.

Watch enough GT's and you don't need timechecks. You can just tell by the cadence and the gears who is winning and by how much.

He had to ride over his level and blew. That happens on steep hills and there is no coming back. That's how Primoz caught him yesterday and put time into him.
