Info about Jan Tratnik accident:

"On a wide straight road, a woman in a post car drove him off the road," says sports director Marc Reef. "He was able to turn away a bit, but not enough to avoid her."
"Jan went over the hood, hurting his knee. On the MRI it became clear that it is impossible for him to start."

As a postman do you have a way of signalling each other, or do the riders just come out of nowhere at full speed?
It’s no team effort, everyone for themselves.

Normal clothes: 1 point
Lycra wannabe: 2 points
Jumbo pro rider: 5 points

So we ride against everything that looks yellow.

I crossed Van Aert this week, but I was also on my bike. He went by to fast. (The only true thing of this post).

Evenepoel will make a big statement tomorrow.
Minimum 30 secs into Roglic and Thomas. A minute+ into all the other contenders. Will be in pink by stage 4.

Not the start the mountain goats wanted. Roglic and Evenepoel should make some good time on some of their rivals on this course. Good course for Kung and Ganna .

Remco takes pink tomorrow

Never loses it. Won't be seeing him in the rainbow jersey. If he wants a GT win in stripes, he needs to go to the tour after mopping up the giro

Isn't yellow actually the color of most European postal services (Deutsche Post, La Poste, Correos, etc.)?

When do teams have to give their starting order?

I see now that wind are predicted to be low but will turn from mostly cross to mostly tailwind
going by the forecast now, I'd say an early start could be a slight advantage. Looks like the tailwind will be stronger in the beginning (although not by much)
