The radio communications will be filtered, so we won't get any inside information. Probably some basic stuff like don't forget to eat, watch out with that roundabout etc. We will probably get all the information after the race, if that.

Something to keep an eye on:

The currently evolving situation with the riots in France could possibly impact the Tour, especially insofar as 28000 gendarmes, policemen & firemen are usually deployed as part of the Tour's security apparatus.

Prudhomme says he's in constant contact with the state & the situation can change on a day-to-day basis.

So while selfish Wout Van Aert is attacking children in classic crosser fashion, generous Tadej Pogačar is performing what looks like miracle healings on babies. Typical.

Pogačar was actually training for the final podium in Paris, i.e. every GT winner gets to hold a baby. So that'll be the one Pog brandishes in three weeks time.

He just needed a little practice first.

I will go with Alaphilippe for the stage win. He is climbing well and is better suited for this kind of terrain than Van der Poel, Van Aert or Girmay. I believe Pogacar will be on the podium gaining a few seconds on Vingegaard.

Surprised people dislike the team radio broadcast. Especially in a tactically driven sport like cycling, where sometimes the only things happening for hours happens under the surface, this seems like a great idea to me.
I'm sorry I prefer my broadcast interrupted with pre-race interviews with riders borishly discussing scenarios that have already been disproven.

So let's hear what Vingegaard had to say before the start today.
"Yeah, it's going to be another difficult day. It will be important to keep focus right to the end. My team is strong and we have shown that we can do it so that great. But for sure, it will be another hard day, yeah."
