Methinks G runs a close second to Sepp Kuss in LS's List of Most Disdained Riders.Rob Hatch goes "there is celebration here, because Narváez and Geraint Thomas have done it!"
What, pray tell, has Geraint Thomas done? It's not like he led Narváez out or buried himself for him to set up the attack, because he had to preserve his own GC aims and Narváez isn't the one that made the attack, he followed Pogačar's attack.
Take off the goggles, Rob. You're normally better than that.
This stage, with basically a single 3'30 climb at the end of a 140 km stage, is where Roglic is simply unironically better than Pogacar.Roglic watching and laughing.
Arensman over 2 minutes down, jeez
Look, I like to dogpile on the Welsh Raúl Alarcón as much as if not more than anybody, but that particular post was not slating Thomas. Thomas did nothing wrong, Rob Hatch was just trying to make it sound like he was an integral part of Narváez' victory and deserved to share the credit for it when all he did was ride - as he should, as the designated leader - for himself and preserve his GC position and limit his losses.Don't hate on Bufalo Thomas, it could be worse...

It was BaudinGap was about 10 seconds to the GC group, there was an AG2R rider inbetween though, not sure if it was APP or O'Connor, time will really depend on how the gaps are interpreted
Wtf that was actually Baudin who managed to attack, the tramadol kid.
No, I don‘t think he‘s shown much on longer climbsNow [peopel in the know can Narváez do it in the mountains ???
No. He is a Gilbert type of riderNow [peopel in the know can Narváez do it in the mountains ???
Nah he's a good classics/hilly rider, excellent in rainy conditions too, won a hilly stage in 2020 when NTT drilled it all day and Pozzovivo couldn't attack, not one for the highest of mountains but maybe if he gets in a breakaway will win another. Now [peopel in the know can Narváez do it in the mountains ???
he was in the move with Schachmann, made it over the climb in 5th and passed Conci on the descent.Wtf that was actually Baudin who managed to attack, the tramadol kid.
