Rob Hatch goes "there is celebration here, because Narváez and Geraint Thomas have done it!"

What, pray tell, has Geraint Thomas done? It's not like he led Narváez out or buried himself for him to set up the attack, because he had to preserve his own GC aims and Narváez isn't the one that made the attack, he followed Pogačar's attack.

Take off the goggles, Rob. You're normally better than that.
Methinks G runs a close second to Sepp Kuss in LS's List of Most Disdained Riders.

Don't hate on Bufalo Thomas, it could be worse...
Look, I like to dogpile on the Welsh Raúl Alarcón as much as if not more than anybody, but that particular post was not slating Thomas. Thomas did nothing wrong, Rob Hatch was just trying to make it sound like he was an integral part of Narváez' victory and deserved to share the credit for it when all he did was ride - as he should, as the designated leader - for himself and preserve his GC position and limit his losses.
