A bit difficult to see with the bad pictures but I thought I saw Emil herzog in the group at the Top of the mountain. Hopefully he didn't crash could have also challenged the finish.

He was doing quite a lot of work for Hindley I think, saw him on the front sometimes, finished 3.47 down.

Decathlon duo looking strong for the stages to come though I hope Seixas will get his own chance and not just have to work in service if Gall.

Ciccone now the favourite overall and expected more from Tiberi and Gee although with both targeting GC podium in the Giro they may be arriving with less form.

Riccitello okish, but what is going on at Israel-Premiertech in general? Everyone seems to have gotten bad this year.
