Tell you what, you can have 5, even 10 extra teams in Grand Tours

In return we get small ass ragtag teams like in this race

Just 7 man teams? Nothing to do with how small they are but with how weak or even they are. So with certain teams having way more money than others.

If every team had a 20M budget no team would be able to control stages like this, with 5 or with 8 riders.

Yeah, I'm surprised it's created this much havoc, but I guess the previous attacks on San Antonio and the descent afterwards, which allegedly killed Bouchard, must have played a role.
Yeah, that one is pretty much half a Giau.
Ultramythical Gall attack!
Btw, the roads in Austria are much better. Their national road infrastructure company actually knows how to built roads that last for multiple snowy winters, unlike the Italians, who only repave the final few cms instead of building a proper, long lasting fundament.

Geesus anesti!

Arensmans want's to win the stage I guess, but Gee is getting closer. If they worked together for a while it might be game over for Storer. Even though it looks like it right now as well. If the gaps are true.

Edit: moments after I wrote this the gaps went significantly down.
So it's a little mystery what the situation really is.

Storer seems to have come a lot closer on the really steep sections (hilarious that this climb isn't classified), but the next one will be much easier, so there's still a chance I guess. Maybe also with Gee catching him.
