I'm glad he was given a penalty. Hopefully, this is show the riders that inappropriate actions will be penalized and we won't have anymore of these incidents. Maybe they waited until after today's stage to do their own investigation into what happened and then decide on an appropriate penalty. I just hope this penalty deters this type of behavior in the future.

I find it kind of funny though, that a guy who does a stupid - cycling unrelated - thing due to a lapse of judgment in a fraction of a second, and outside of the actual race (while the case was already closed by the authorities), gets dispelled by the UCI, but guys that have been cheating the system for a decade, then the UCI isn't quite as brave. :lol:

Yeah, I guess. About 5 to 6 hours from the finish town of today's stage to the start of the next. Might also explain the earlier finish today?

While posing for a photo with a waitress he was humping the air behind her and she reported him to the police for sexual harassment.

It could be due to that strange white surface in the last turn. The bunch was clearly not sure how safe it was and some slowed down considerably. I would not be surprised if the jury decide to remove the gaps (of course, depending on how many relevant names are affected).

What happened to Evenepoel?

The Cyclingnews results show him missing from the top ten, but Procyclingstats still has him in fourth on GC. I am not sure which is correct.
