The others didn't even come close. It would be interesting to see on which rider the team will bank in the bigger races, him or Bozic

From the pictures it looks like Martin attacked, and Appollonio and Feillu passed him in the final meters.

i would back felliu. Neither can really compete with the farrar's and cav's in a hard out sprint.
but felliu is a very crafty rider. am excited to seem him duke it out on some of the more challenging sprint stages at the gts. I think he could find some success at the giro.

As their only French rider (and a pretty good one at that) I think he's almost sure to ride the Tour. There are two or three stages in the first week that should really suit him. Although it's not Appollonio he'll have to deal with there.

no doubt he'll be in the tour i agree (and hope). Simply stating i think he could do well at the giro tho.
would love to see him get a tour stage tho. :)

if feillu wins the mt. faron stage too,i'll laugh my asz off.

Based on today I'd say Dan Martin has a good shot at that stage, he's obviously confident.

i'm hoping poels can do something.
might be a little steep tho. we'll see.

wish there was coverage.

Poels for the stage ofcourse! Vacans to dominate the Mediterraneen! :)

Honestly I don't think he can win it yet. I can't see him beating Martin yet which is imo the favourite for today.

More importantly.... will there be live coverage? This stage will be interesting.

In progress => stage 5: Sunday, February 13, Biot → Toulon, Mont-Faron 165k ^

Tour Med is known for the steep, twisty Mont Faron mountaintop finish which traditionally is the climax for this race. Mont Faron isn't very long at 5 km, but averages 10-12%. Romain Feillu will take a 18s lead over Sky's Davide Appollonio and a 21s lead over Thomas Voeckler. Voeckler and 4th place Daniel Martin who is 5s behind Voeckler likely have the best shot at winning this race.

Start time: Sunday 11:55 CET (11:55:00 AM UTC+0100);

Approximate finish: 16:00 CET (4:00:00 PM UTC+0100);

French TV is almost as bad as British when it comes to cycling.

Probably Dan Martin. I wouldnt mind Cummings having a go for the win but its a long shot i think..

Dan Martin ftw.

Soler for good performance.

Interesting to see what Nocentini will show.

And how much time will Feilliu lose.
