He is probably counting down the days remaining in his contract. I see him at Cofidis or BSC next year.
Any reason to think he would do better over there? Unless of course he can't speak a word of English...which would be a problem at Garmin. JV's had a lot of unexpected successes relaunching some guys, Le Mevel is a fail though.

So who do we have left beside Wiggo who could challenge Durbridges time?

Millar?

Kelderman. :)

But actually it will be interesting to see how he does. He seems quite good at prologues.

Rai Sport 2 went live, 10 minutes ago.
So, more coverage on Italian tv, than french.
It looks more damp than waterlogged.

Agree, Kelderman will probably do a good time if the roads aren't too wet.

Maybe his naturally in decline, but he seemed better (or at least not worse) the last couple of years at FDJ than he was at Garmin.

I only see Wiggo as a real threat. Wet roads even later on and Durbridge should win this.

The roads seem wet enough now to call for loads of caution. That's why i don't think Wiggo can get him.

Agree, if it doesn't dry up Wiggo won't take any chances at all with TDF coming up. Thursday the crucial day for Wiggo, not today.

Also last time Wiggins played "guess the rain" in a prologue in France he ended up losing close to a minute.

edit: Or close to France.
