I thought whatever disease Froome had (auto-immune disease) has flared again (or had earlier in the year). Am I mis-remembering that?

It's a parasite, should have it under control now.

Bilharzias Disease, yes he claims he has had another episode

Claims ? Come on :)

Shortly afterwards during the Volta ao Algarve, I picked up a chest infection which kept me bed ridden for almost two weeks and then lingered on for another two weeks preventing me from taking the start at Paris-Nice.

As I felt progressively better I began to train more, only to have an accident on my TT bike which had me in hospital for the day- luckilly only leaving with a chin full of stitches.

Shortly thereafter I had some blood tests that revealed active bilharzia parasites in my system, which I have been trying to get rid of for the past 18 months. This would explain why the chest infection affected me so severely and it took me so long to get over.

Is there any advantage to wearing glasses with a TT helmet instead of a visor? Cause I see lots of pros doing it and I don't really get why.

Froom 6:55, not bad.
Really i don't see much different in the conditions now and the pictures of Evans.
The sky is also a lot brigther now. Wiggins has a chance.

Sponsorship, and also habit - most wear glasses everyday. But a visor is generally faster

Dry roads are much different to drying roads. They're better than they were 30 minutes ago though.

I know visor is faster - that's why I asked. It also looks a lot less stupid.
