1. Nairo wins the ITT
2. Forum meltdown before stage 17 begins.
3. Sagan will win a mountain stage
4. Movistar will attack on Madeleine
5. Nibali will fail to make up for TTT time loss, finishing second.

Technically we do have the power to make that happen.

The title says BOLD predictions, so here goes

Froome doesn't finish due to an attack from a spectator while in yellow
No sprint dominance - no more than two stage wins for anyone
The whole thing is won by someone not from Sky, Movistar, Nibali, Porte or Bardet
David Lappartient finds himself embroiled in a scandal
Warren Barguil is rubbish (not that bold, I actually think this)
A big breakaway is significant

For really outlandish predictions
Colombian fans treat Bernal's appearance with subdued caution
Nacer Bouhanni wins a stage
Laurent Jalabert admits to his 'past'

Well that big break being significant could easily go along with the someone other than Nibali, Porte, Bardet or from Sky or Movistar winning it. I do remember Sky saying in 2016 that unless Valverde lost a good chunk of time, no way they'd intentionally let a break go with him in it because he could easily win the whole thing that way.

why that?

Two hours of watching people on trainers. They should make it a virtual stage.

I fixed that for you! :D

 I was looking at steephill and couldn't find the climb. I had to google that. Let me dream

1. Dawg will crash out & DNF on first stage.
2. Rolland wins the GC with a healthy 7 min gap
3. Haussler wins two stages
4. Nacer Bouhanni's transfer to Adria Mobil is announced on the first rest day
5. lil richie gets busted for coke

1. Froome will start
2. Froome will be in yellow
3. Porte,Nibali and Movistar Leadership Commitee will be unsuccesfully trading attacks - unfortunately in out of date out-of-the-saddle technique
4. Gaviria will finally fullfill his potential and win 0 stages because Kittel exists who wins 4
5. Bernal will guide Froome to another TdF victory and wins Vuelta, everybody in clinic section of the forum changes their avatar to Kanye West "bruh" meme

Jaja admitting his past is a real bold prediction..

Re: 40 Days before TdF: What are your Top 5 Bold Predictions

1. Landa and Quintana's rivalry commences at the team presentation. Both race to get first in the line for introductions, crash and take eachother out of the tour.

2. Geraint Thomas doesn't crash.

3. Froome and Nibali both won't podium

4. Quickstep get disqualified for winning too many stages and making it boring.

5. Richie Porte finally lives up to the hype

Since that would be during the presentation and not the first stage, would the team be able to get two more riders for a full team? Although seeing issues between them at that point, I'm not sure would be that surprising.

I really hope he will join The Team Sky Train and finish 2nd overall in Paris.

Just as Lil Richie is about to win the Tour on the Portet Sky use a security loophole in his firmware and make him stop and wait to tow Froome to victory. Froome does the double and wins a fourth GT in a row. Portal arrogantly proclaims they have planned all in advance, km by km, stage by stage.

After last year's Dauphine. I think the light bulb has gone on for Richie regarding Froome..........

* Bouhanni flukes a stage win by actually sprinting clean for once, then proceeds to get in a WWE style brawl with Hinault during the podium ceremony.

* The Movistar leadership committee works together flawlessly and all finish top 10.

*Porte drops Badet on a descent

* Bernal claims to be riding for Froome, then does what Froome did to Wigans in 2012 until SDB starts pelting Bernal with gels from the car until he gets a time penalty for illegal feeding

* Matthews and Sagan go 1-2 on an uphill sprint by so much they have a time gap

* Cavendish gets towelled in the sprints by Gaviria and Ewan, but forgets to put the blame on anyone else.

* Thomas doesn’t crash the entire race

* Matt White goes for the entire Tour without eating a single piece of junk food, goes into withdrawals and takes it out on an opposing DS live on Race footage

Re: 40 Days before TdF: What are your Top 5 Bold Predictions

1 Richie Porte to stuff it to the haters and Win the TDF! Landa 2nd.
2 Kwiat, Thomas, TJ & Jungels to lead GC after 1st rest day.
3 Froome will be stopped from starting after lawsuit at CAS by ASO
4 Bardet to not finish in Top 5.
5 Dumoulin & Quintana to not feature in the GC podium race
6 GC climbers to lose 1.5 mins on stage 1 crosswinds, Gaviria to win the stage after QS tear the race to shreds.

some pretty bold ones here. Movistar working well together? Thomas not crashing? Good one.

does matt white punch or eat another ds? It's pretty ambiguous
