I thought I read somewhere that because of the lack of race miles due to sickness then injury, having to pull out of Giro and Dauphine being first race back, he would also now ride Route as well.
As has already been said though, he was probably stronger in Dauphine than expected so that's probably the reason for the plan change. As you say, all three together and so close is pretty desperate, but then he was pretty desperate at one point given his run of bad luck. Glad to see he appears to be back on track now. A strong Aru and Fuglsang will really add to the excitement at the Tour.
