seriously?

Yes.

This forums has gone downhill for quite some time. Some really good posters have dissapeared for obvious reasons.
I know I'm not the most knowledgable poster here, but I try to keep it civilized.
When I arrived here this was a class forum, 2 years later it's troll infested with a lot of mud throwing, accusations, personal attacks and blind fanboyism.

I'm aware this is pretty much a personal as well. I'm sure your a nice guy irl, but a lot of posts on this board are highly annoying if you ask me. Like I said your not the only one as well.

Well said. I joined the forum before the Giro in 2009, and there were good discussions and lots of interesting posts. The biggest difference in my opinion is that 95% of posts were worth reading. Today, to exaggerate a bit, 95% of posts are worthless to me.

Great race. The Italians are happy of course. Bold move by Freire that almost! worked...if Gilbert hadn't gone when he did the Spaniard would have won. On the other hand the Belgian going when he did cost him the race, because too soon.

Young Sagan still needs to learn how to win a Classic, but his talent is undisputed. Gasparotto out-foxed the rest, with a small chain ring on the steep part, then big ring on the false flat to power past his adversaries. Cunego would have fought for the victory had the other rider not taken him down.

Valverde isn't on top, but will be for Leige. Whereas lo squalo di Messina, Nibali, looks in difficulty. Gilbert's on track for a victory this week and I see him again as a favorite on Sunday.

Wont be long for Sagan though. The big question before this season was if he could manage the long stages which he has. Let's hope he continues blooming and doesn't take learn from Pozzato :)
Any news in the Danish media about Breschel? What the hell was wrong with him?

If he's this bad they might consider taking someone else, maybe a youngster who really wants to ride. I mean, if he swings off at 100 k to go he won't be of much use anyway.
They should just all help Mollema. Its clear he is the only good Rabo at the moment.
And they DO need the WT points.. So even a 6th place instead of a 10th can make a difference.

I also have some faith in Kruijswijk, he wasn't too far behind on the Keutenberg, Sunday was his first race day since his illness, and LBL should suit him better.

Lulu should be participating in these races aswell instead of riding minor and less important races somewhere in Spain.. He could do good since it seems like they aren't riding them that hard this year.

Luis Leon has never been good in these classics... they tried it last year, he was nowhere.

Frank Schleck (12th) mentions here that he was one of the strongest at Amstel. Does anyone agree? He was clearly the strongest Radioshack rider (next best was Ben Hermans, 70th) but if he was one of the strongest riders, I would presume he should be able to finish in the Top 10 at least, even with his lack of sprint/explosiveness or have been able to start an attack on one of the hills.

Good that he thinks it of himself. I didn't see him during the race, I didn't see many riders actually. An uphill sprint often doesn't tell the whole story but 12th isn't too impressive, especially considering a lot of other favorites were even lower down (meaning less talented riders were in front of him).

Well both Fränk Schleck and Mollema had to brake almost to a complete stop as they were just behind Nordhaug/Cunego. And on that part of the climb it's hard to get speed again

Yes Gasparotto rode a very smart race. I thought Freire had pinched it. Strange crash even Cunego is unsure what happened. I thought Vanendert had the race won when Gilbert dropped off knowing how well he climbs. Voeckler also has to be considered at Liege, he is in great form.

he was badly positioned coming into the last climb. He started the climb about 6 from the back of the group.

"In any case, in these races, it's often a matter of riding near the front. If you can do that, it makes it all a lot easier on this type of courses." Jelle Vanendert before the AGR.
