They climbed it in both the Dauphiné and the Tour in 2000 and also in 2005, 1998 and 1996. Including MTTs, that's 11 ascents in 13 years from 1994 to 2006.

Yes but I was under the assumption that we don't have times from these Dauphine stages outside 2005, correct me if I'm wrong?

Then why did you bother posting Guerreiro's W/kg for a 40+-minute climb in the first place?

Because it's a datapoint nonetheless. My argument is that Ventoux power estimates will generally be on the low side of a W/kg vs time curve when the wind is bad. Today the wind was good.

Not that I know of, but I imagine it would have been reported at the time if anyone broke Pantani's record. The organisers would certainly have liked the publicity.
