Vino team's attitude was disappointing. They left all the responsibility to Jayco, and then to Adam Yates when it was clear he wasn't going to beat them in the sprint.

By the time they wanted to work together, it was too late.
i assume bettiol wasnt up for donkey duty

And then they are sprinting with 3 in the end lmao.

Do they realize they really don't need this points scoring BS anymore? They are never going to be relegated with their budget and team.

I don't get it, great for Veistroffer tho. He's been in a lot of doomed breaks the past year, always great if someone like that wins one.

Plapp and Lecerf lost time. Lopez from Astana too (he was attacking early so wasn't a leader here I guess).

Also Kuss not in results, but might be a transponder issue

Plapp has too many inconsistencies in his performance to be be a reliable GC rider. And to think he wants to ride GC at the Vuelta after doing 63 race days before this target. Madness!

Interesting to see what team controls and can put a decent pace on the climb.

UAE has lost riders and sent Oliveira in the break.

Visma has been decimated here.

A few other teams have lost riders as well.

As said, interesting to see how the race plays out. Waiting for the climbs on the remaining stages is playing into the hands of someone like A. Yates, when his team look vunerable here.

I don't understand why Visma is pulling when they have only 4riders. Lemmen must be feeling very strong.
UAE is the only team that isn't working using Rui Oliveira as an excuse.

Its like why UAE was pulling at the end of stage no 5 in valenciana. Sometimes it does not make sense!

But the race in Valencia was already decided. The final stage wasn't going to give them the victory.
Here, however, everything is still to decide. Yates is the clear favorite, and Visma is pulling althouht has lost four riders. No sense.

Visma ni siquiera es el segundo favorito. Deberían dejar toda la responsabilidad en manos de Jayco, Soudal y Astana.

And now Lemmen will win  . But it still doesn't make sense for them to pull like teams with eight riders.
