You don't count Continental as pro?

Susan

Didn't Van Avermaet only turn pro in 2007 @"Predictor-Lotto"?

Regardless, 5 or 6 years as a pro is hardly veteran level. That's like calling a 40 year old man a veteran when he has done his job for 20 years.

Van Avermaet is not a veteran.

fifth :p Jong Vlaanderen doesn't count :p

I don't know...I'd consider 5 years as a pro a veteran...what does it take??? How many years of riding before he is considered a veteran?? He has been doing the big races for a few years now...he is sure no neopro...Maybe if he actually won something in those years he would be considered a veteran??

Anyone know the average pro career length? It might not even be 5 years...

Jezus, how is a 25 year old rider a veteran? Please keep that term reserved for people who have been around for at least ten years.

What do you call Niko Eeckhout? An über-veteran?

news from the race?

I will consider also Sep Vanmarcke for a top5!

Dehaes, Lequatre, Marcato, El Fares, Andrea Pasqualon and Bonnin ahead. Lead only two minutes. Rabobank working in the back.

I guess Vacansoleil wanted someone in the break, because De Gendt aslo tried. Lead is only 40 seconds now. Not sure how far to go.
