I heard an interview with him on sporza earlier and I must say he seems very confident indeed and yet is not arrogant about it. I like that in a rider. Hope he finishes well today just for that reason alone; he believes in himself and does not shy away from it. Good on him.

He's lucky not to be Dutch, otherwise the Belgians would call him a "dikke nek" and an "arrogante Ollander". It's good to be confident, but I find this a bit laughable really.

Yeah, that's why I'm a fan of him as well. The way he speaks in interviews... He has something special, I guess we can call it charisma.
