Oh, i look forward to seeing Brenner and Vandenabeele in Ronde and Giro then!

It's also the first time i've heard of Sarthe as being "a season goal" for Van Wilder. Brabantse Pijl however, was one, and that starts only a few days after Sarthe was supposed to finish.
I mean it doesn't fully make sense but I presume it's pretty hard to get racing for the whole team atm with races being cancelled etc. We don't fully know the programes, shapes and goals of the riders and teams so I think it's a bit harsh to criticise them for (not) bringing rider xyz to race xyz. Brenner or Vandenabeele, as you pointed out, are never going to ride the Giro. But they could be part of the team in the build-up races.

It sounded more like Sarthe was A goal, like an early leadership opportunity for van Wilder, rather then being a season highlight. Think Ardennes will be his first goal now.

But Vandenabeele and Heinschke aren't even on the professional team. It seems quite weird to me not to field seven pros in this race considering how few racing opportunities there are currently.

Yep, I'm with you. Just think they probably have good enough reason to do this otherwise a team like DSM, having everything planned out to the last bit, wouldn't do this.

I found no feed. The live broadcast from Colombia is using the official race communications for the radio broadcast only.

First: no need for you to open up a Dorian Godon - Great French Cheese race winner -thread. I will do it later. Second: Okay, nobody's seen it, but I wonder, where was Ineos in the end?
I thought Pidcock and Narvaez were the most likely to do well on such a finish, instead GT and Sivakov were the best placed Ineos riders (21st and 24th, both in the bunch at 3")

Glad to see Nairo Quintana back again and he finished 15th in the main group of favourites. I'm hoping he will have a good year. Perhaps the days of him winning a Grand Tour are gone although I'd love to see it again.

Impressive stuff from GVA. But Fayence should be a bit too hard, right?

Probably one for a speedy climber like Woods, Fuglsang or Ciconne.
