What a top 4, we have some great talent on our hands! Lets see when they will race a proper mountain stage instead of such a whacky 30 km stage

So more Slovenian top quality on its way it seems!
Arensman is suprising me tho . He is just 18 and first year U23. And I thought he was a classics rider
Is he Slovenian too? :p

Some interesting names popped up, others disappointed. Not entirely sure how representative such a short stage is in regards to GC and climbing ability. I mean, better climbers should surface in longer mountain stages compared to guys that might be able to get over one or two mountains, but blow up after 3 or 4.

The Belgians were kinda disappointing...

Vanhoucke is the only one of them who could feature with the top guys and his whole season was hampered by injury and illness. So it was really no surprise. Maybe he gets a bit better in the next stages.
