Mayomaniac said:I have a soft spot for the Mongolian rider of the UCI WCC team, Tegsh-bayar Batsaikhan, a track cycling guy. in 2016 he became the Scratch Junior WC with 5 months of training and pretty much no knowledge of track cycling before coming to Aigle:
"It is a fantastic result for this 18-year-old athlete who prepared for the Worlds at the UCI WCC. The Centre’s coaches detected the young Mongolian’s talent when he attended a short training camp at the WCC satellite centre in Korea in 2015. After studying the data from his performances on the Wattbike (stationary training bike) the coaches contacted the Mongolian Cycling Federation at the beginning of 2016 and invited him to join the trainees based in Aigle."

Durning the Winter he's at home, but there isn't a velodrome in Ulan Bator, so the guy is training on the road with -20 to -30°C, he's hard as nails.
But the stage is only 35km as well.DNP-Old said:Time limit is 12 minutes tomorrow.
They will probably change that.DNP-Old said:Time limit is 12 minutes tomorrow.

Logic-is-your-friend said:GC after today is nearly the same, except that Covi gained 5 seconds on the peloton, and Gregaard gained 3 seconds.

Nope, only a liveticker: https://www.directvelo.com/direct/3839/tour-de-l-avenir-etape-7. Last two stages will be televised though.del1962 said:DNP-Old said:Tons of riders getting dropped already.
Is it televised?
They seem to be using it consistantly, for who has been dropped = "laché" and those that have attacked = "sauté" though.slosada said:I get what you're saying: sauté can have two opposite meanings: jumped or explodedDNP-Old said:I'm confused.
