The bad bike throw timing cost Cosnefroy. Still, he played it decent, maybe he could have started his sprint 20m later, but that's it. Michal is a deserving winner of the Dutch motopacing championship!

What a finish! Kwiato has done it, congrats! Amazing scenes after the finish: initially nobody was sure, then Cosnefroy was celebrating and Kwiato was sad but after a while it was the other way around, lol.

I am Dutch. And honestly, we should not be allowed to organize races anymore. We can’t call the results correctly. We always have a lot of cars on the route. And it takes us 6 hours to post the full results of a race. It’s a disgrace.

If Matthews ever wins a monument, or a top tier one day race again I will probably faint and start drooling on myself................Gerrans was a smarter rider than Matthews.

Minutes of confusion like this shouldn't have happenned, really, especially at this age, in one of the biggest one day races outside the 5, and so quickly after the last time it happenned! Cycling needs something better.

Brilliant one day racing again today, in both men's and women's.

Have to say I'm pleased for Kwia. Ineos made the race today and rode it just the way they had to to beat massive favourite MVDP.

Kwiato has one of the best timed bike throws in sprints. He similarly won MSR in 2017 thanks to perfectly timed bike throw to beat Sagan and Alaph.
