If the GPS is correct this break is starting to look increasingly dangerous. Benoot, Dillier, De Plus etc. aren't going to be caught easily by tired domestiques. If the group in front keeps cooperating decently, they could go a very long way. But this is a treacherous route, people can blow up or close big gaps quickly on this route.......

Maybe Gilbert doesn't have good legs today?
Maybe he will change his approach from cobbles -> ardennes and play it conservative
I guess he has to a bit. It's a different animal doing a 20km+ solo when only a handful of rider are chasing, compared with a whole peloton hunting you down.

Colbrelli is not just a sprinter.

What a great rider.
Agreed, been very impressive this season. 10th in RVV, a few days after being hit by a car was a phenomenal effort as well.

The peloton have decided that the best way of catching the break is by stopping working.

Edit: it's ok though because the break have decided that the best way of staying away is also by not pulling

Even if he doesn't win today, this is going to be a really great workout for Colbrelli ahead of Amstel. He must be one of the favourites for there in this form.

Colbrelli's like a real boss here. Shouting and motivating a breakaway full of Belgians in Belgium. He's obviously not a shy guy. :D

Bole tries to console Colbrelli
I'd let him get really angry. Get all that adrenaline flowing, blood pressure high and he'll be massively motivated to drop everyone on the final climb.

If there was less riders on a team, the strongest riders would be forced to work like Colbrelli is doing now. The races would have been a lot better.
