Underrating Uran surprises me the same way as underrating Van Baarle before RVV. He has been good this year.

Talansky is not good on explosive climbs and has never done well in this race. I don't think he will be a factor in GC.

The thing with Uran is that he has become really bad in ITTs, I don't know if you should back him.
Contador, Valverde, Henao and Ion Izaguirre, should be the top favourites, stage 4 should be too hard for Kwaitkowski. Of course the Slowenian duo is always dangerous and could surprise people.

Funny little observation from Valgren regarding the different rider types between this and Vlaanderen:

Yesterday #rvv riders +75kilos
Today #PaisVasco riders -65kilos

Yes, I don't think Uran is among top3 favourites for GC but many people don't even mention him among riders who should finish high on GC.

He must be sick or injured. He's probably the fastest sprinter in a weak field and a win or two here is much better than breaking your collarbone at Sch*ld*pr*js.

Frankly I don't see anyone stopping the mighty German Scheldemerckx, riding that demolition derby on roadbikes is pretty much a waste of time.
