63a Vuelta a Colombia 2013 - Sun, June 9 to Sun, 23 (landmark)

For those interested, you can follow the radio broadcast in Spanish in RCN Antena2... In TuneIn you can find several streams.

Today's stage just finished in Ipiales. From what I got the wind created a huge break that kept over 3 minutes on the peloton. By the end of the stage a number attacks and counterattacks in the lead group made it a crazy finish.
The winner was Guamá from Ecuador, and everyone in the escapade entered one by one

The group arrived at 3:24

Tomorrow they will go to Pasto, 92Kms, with one 1st cat MT at 15Km from the end.

Strage stuff (at least for me): the profiles seem to have algorithmic scale in the mileage in Fedeciclismo page.

Did you see the face on those two on the back? LOL
I don't blame them.

3rd stage finished in Pasto:
Rafael Infantino (Aguardiente Antioqueño) was in a 5 rider group (with Ortega, Solis, Montaña) in the climb and attacked to get alone to the finish line.

The other 4 were captured in the descent. Mauricio Ardila won the bunch sprint (34 riders) at 9"
The leader, Ortiz, lost 21" and the 1st place in GC.

The new leader is Juan Sebastián Tamayo (GW Shimano) Martinez (Boyacá) at 6", Stiver Ortiz at 10"

i fear sevilla will get slaughtered once again in vuelta. but at least i can be content with the thought that froomey would have the same faith
gato also have a nice gap because of the bordure from stage 2

european guys almost all of them arrived too late at the finish or something like this in GC:

113 Omar LOMBARDI Italy UNA +42:18
127 Andrea MASCIARELLI Italy UNA +58:28
139 Simone MASCIARELLI Italy UNA +1:21:30

and there wasn't even any tremendous mountain stage yet. at the end, i think none of them will finish

The Hungarian team is only saying that it is really hot there right now, even htoter than expected, making the race extremely hard for Europeans. At least that's the excuse they're making for their very poor performance :)

well done babyface! a living legend _O_

Etapa 4:
1. Óscar Sevilla
2. Félix Cárdenas
3. Jair Pérez
4. Óscar Sánchez
5. Luis Largo

but no chance he wins this overall unfortunately. can that stream be recorded and uploaded somewhere?

Hahha, good one! Average temperatures from Quito to Popayán are under 20C (almost all are above 2000m over sea level)

Now, today's valley is really hot... not like ToC, but still

sevilla stating the obvious: "vuelta a colombia is harder than giro, tour or vuelta"

in south america you ride with other, way bigger gears than in europe. no doubt that he if gato would race in europe with this form he will kill most of the guys
i wish this will be live on eurosport, it's sad that they race so hard and there will be no full live videos of these absolute "a tutta" races

castilblanco dramatically caught. but at least his friend took the win
