Ofc he has alot to learn hes 21 thats why I dont get the forced hate, hes mostly tactically super bad but again hes 21 and part of the learning process one would think, he might also end up beeing stupid and never learn time will tell.

Well to be fair, humans only get worse at learning as they get older. If he hasn't picked up tactics in the first 10,000 hours, the next 10,000 aren't looking very good either. And the more success you have, the more you're marked, i.e. the game only gets harder, never easier. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any cyclists who learned tactics over time, maybe Remco but really he still doesn't rely on nous, just legs. Same with Alaphilipe who wasted many of his early years being completely boneheaded (and then later on, lazy), as he still never learned tactics but gaining the slightest modicum of patience was enough to land him some mega wins.

I like that finale. Too many races are decided solely on a climb and especially with such a steep finale won't make the race more interesting.
Having a flat final kilometres after a really steep climb opens for a lot more tactics and offers something different.

Yeah I love this finale as well. We've seen a number of different scenarios pan out in the past few years.

Great tactics and preparation. When he bridged across others didn't expect him to attack so soon, great move and really really punished himself to ride solo, get the win, the time bonus and overall. UAE also put pressure to try and get any additional bonuses at the line.

Whats wrong with Christen?

I suspect that for many, the answer is nothing in general, but his conduct in this race (excessive riding in the cars, ignoring commissars' directions, striking another rider) does not seem to be something that should result in a win.

I get that, and its also a genuine reasoning I can understand. Good thing Lidl and RBH are stepping up to become real heavy hitters then. Serious money.
