The milion dollar question is if Sagan going for himself or will set up Majka at that last murito. He could go reasonably well. I know it is brutal murito after hard stage but with absence of proper ardennes guys except Theuns this could be doable.

Well, Bora's captain for GC is Majka, but it would be silly to sacrifice Sagan. I think they will both have free role in the murito, unless one of them is not feeling very good at the bottom. Sagan's chances here are a mystery, same as his form. He can win it, but he can also implode trying. It's not exactly Mur de Huy and for him, it should be enough to follow wheel, he doesn't need to attack. Good for him is that the steepest parts are at the bottom of the hill.

It should definitely be interesting and it will all depend how the hills will be ridden.

Looking forward to this stage. Teuns vs Poels for the win, while Sagan loses less only about 15 seconds and remains right in contention for the GC.

If he'll lose time today, when he's gonna gain it? Notice there is no time bonuses at the finish this year.

This might be very interesting stage potentially. It's short, has numerous climbs and hard finish. Teams are small so it should be difficult to control the race. Something interesting might happen even before the steep finish.

No time bonuses? What are you talking about? Did I imagine the first two stages?

I'm not sure I understand this post about no bonuses.

Sorry, my bad. Of course there are time bonuses. I mixed up stage results with gc standings on procyclinstats and while seeing no time differences mistakenly concluded that there are no bonuses. Sorry again!

It's definitely more interesting with bonuses.

PS. I see Poels snatched 1s yesterday at intermediate. Sneaky...

Monfort, Reichenbach, Cavagna,Stachowiak, Lindeman, Gonçalves & Paterski have one minute on the bunch

137 km to go

2 minutes, now with 55 minutes to go - it's been dropping from a max of almost 4 minutes though. Gonçalves almost always at the back of the break. Bora pulling the front of the peloton.

Surely stage 7 will be too harsh for Sagan even if he survives this one? Hard to see Sagan not losing a bit of time to the Majkas and Nibalis in that stage unless it's raced very conservatively - but why would it be?
