Thank goodness, DQS did not get 2 of their protected riders in the break. Tim de Clercq was always going to get dropped relatively early and could not be deployed as a strategy in the finale.Deserved win for Stuyven. He didn't allow D-QSt to play its usual tactical game. He won because he was the strongest individual.

He was clearly cooked in the end. I'd say he pulled even more than he should have, considering how easily he was dropped when Lampaert attacked.
