That was after the fact though, but in that sense yes Sagan failed to shed the two anchors he's riding with.Forever The Best said:It looked to me like Sagan tried to make Terpstra work when he didn't do it he attacked himself, trying to leave Terpstra in the dust and trying to catch the duo. Also Sagan failed really hard![]()
Bingo. They have to realize he won't always drag them home. That would also force teams in the situation QS was in to try and make something of it rather than wait and wait.

He probably thinks he can win the sprint whether it comes back together or not - as long as he makes Sagan and Keukeleire work really hard. He can still put out a good sprint after hard efforts - the other two perhaps not so much. So the harder the race the better for him I guess.WheelofGear said:What is GVA doing? He should be more afraid of Jens in a sprint than Sagan.
Gilbert = by far the best cobbled rider for QS this year.the asian said:QS have been saved by Gilbert in the cobbled season. Without him it is business as usual.
Or, the other way round, in a similar situation in RVV it's more of a gamble to bluff. And maybe he decides that he has to close down every gap himself.tukabel said:Sorped said:Irondan said:Sagan didn't fail, he can't be the only rider to close every gap when people attack.
