Not sure if such a reduced peloton can go that much faster without running out of domestiques too early, at best there are three teams who might ride and none of them are complete. This was a possibility the moment this break got up the road.

Ineos and Israel will be working together, they're basically the only GC teams who can chase tbh.

No his form is not back. I heard he has said that he felt this week (even without that crash) that he was not where he wanted to be yet.
