I can see Seeldrayers making the top 20. (somewhere between 15th and 20th). Not everyone will deliver.

lol.
the guy has done nothing all season, can't see his fortunes changing considering the quality of the sprint field.

probably wyss too might get lucky top10s but nothing more than that. well they got tschopp, santambrogio and ballan for the breaks which should be pretty good. and ballan can ride the strade bianche. kristoff got a 7th in Schelderprijs just saying.

Also I hope Harmonn doesnt have to call the first 3 stages all by himself again. That was a nightmare.

Brian Smith for the those stages, although given the length of Sunday's coverage, even Carlton Kirby could fly solo without doing too much damage.
That's where having Rai Sport 2 pays for itself.

Even so, the gavia stage was still pretty good in relative terms to any mountain stage of any stage race.

Of course, Tschopp 1st and Evans 2nd has nothing to do with this call?;)

You will all regret your words if the peloton chills at 30 km/h on a completely flat stage until the last kilometers and Kristoff is positioned decently (which is even less likely). In theory he is really fast at least, although I'm getting tired of saying it as he never seems to be able to live up to his potential.

Gotta love this race. Been studying the official guide.
On the Zoncolan stage, before the Monte Crostis, there's a 5.2km climb that averages 9% and it doesn't even get rated 3rd cat!

I can't ever see that happening in Le Tour de Publicity Caravan.:D

they should go for haedo in the tour then, he's only chance of them winning a stage. if he has a good train in pure speed jj is amazing. they don't have any other gc guys than contador

Yes, it would be a sensible thing to try JJ with decent helpers, as well as using Chris Anker S. to go for a stage in the mountains and let Larsson (if Contador doesn't get off the hook) pursue GC or TT more or less alone.

I imagine Porte will be main GC for Vuelta regardless of the Contador-situation (and therefore it makes sense that he won't ride the Tour)

But back to Giro. Gonna be epic!

Pretty sure Machado can win the white jersey.

Porte was also 25 last year. BUT he turned 26 this year (Jan), so I dunno...

Remember last year?

When Vino ripped his own team apart and then was angry at Stangeli who was the last fifth on the finish?

Good times.

TTT's always shows the effieciency of a team. Generally you go quite bad or quite good. You can tell which teams have and have not practised it.

Porte and Machado can't, because they were both born before 1986. Duarte, Ulissi, Kreuziger, Masciarelli, Kiserlovski, Seeldraeyers, Kruijswijk... will be in.

In an interview of 2 days ago, Pozzovivo said that Crostis will decide the Giro.
I'm beginning to think that they are ACTUALLY gonna attack there. If so, we have the stage of the century

Ah yes, because most teams generally practice a TTT??

They only do on the day the TTT is been held. They don't hold off-season meetings to practice a TTT..sorry to burst your bubble...
