With Miller and Lance, this race is surely showing some curious form. Lots of cards being show vis later in the year.

It's a side effect of the finale starting so late. In the past guys the race 'started' in earnest on the Koppenberg when the big guns started to smoke. Plenty of guys were eliminated right there, lost way to much ground and were never able to make it up.

This year those guys were allowed to return, and as such there are some 'unusual' names showing their stuff in the last 30kms.

Wouldn't be surprised if LA's chasing group gives up now. No point killing yourself for nothing.

Expect an all out effort on the Bosberg to try and shake him.

Doubt it, he might be able to drop Cancellara, but he'd also have to hold him on on the flats. If Boonen wins it will be in a sprint.

Funny how the move which blew the race apart back on the Moleberg initially just looked like Canc wanting to move to the front. Boonen follows, the gap increases, and BAM just like that they pull out to 30 seconds.

Amazing that in a world class field, only Boonen had the legs and awareness to follow.
