It would be a bit of an anti-climax if Chav ends up winning this and the favourites never actually fight it out.

I can't say I was encouraged after watching the Cervelo documentary footage of their Milan-San Remo pre-race meeting.

Jeezus, the team bus was saturated with indecision and uncertainty. I hope they had a better mind-set at the start of today.

QS has done what they have to do. The onus is squarely on Cance to close down the gap to Chav. Boonen just has to sit on his wheel, I know easier said than done, while Cance burns all his matches.
