I already saw some action on my way to work (mainly a BMC van selling BMC stuff and some cops barring the road). I guess the Scheldeprijs really is today :)

Who will be Cav's final leadout man, Rasmussen or Howard (if they survive 200km). Someone new, either way. Unless they use Eisel.

Cav for the win providing he's sorted out his stomach problems from MSR & G-W, (reported unable to keep food or liquid down) however he's been riding well despite this even with some bad luck. How about Matt Brammier for the Bernie Eisel role to the last 700 then Cav using the Garmin train ala TDF stage 18 before jumping to take the win.

If Kristoff and I make babies then it will be a highly intelligent and superior physiological baby that there ever has been.

Let's hope that Kristoff sticks around to teach it some grammar.

Cav even kept up with the peloton in the Ronde for quite long. His form seems to be okay, he's certainly the no. 1 favourite FTW.

Those three. Pick the best sprinters for this one. I'd have those three ahead of a couple you have picked.

I went to the start. They took off nicely. Beautiful weather. All the riders looked happy to be there. Seeing all of the top contenders up close was suprising. I stood next to the Sporza guys taking the pre-race interviews. Farrar had a gayish colored ring in his ear and lots of freckles on his arms.

According to procycling.no Team Sky will go all out for EBH today. They will try to do a lead out with the whole team and CJ Sutton will be the final lead out for EBH.

Pretty much what we expected, EBH is consistently faster than Hendo and Sutton and he's not much use in the lead-out anyway.

Edvald not much use in the lead-out? He is (one of) the best lead-out man in the world if you consider raw power. Did you miss the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne for instance?

Flecha did most of the work that day, Eddy did about 200m and very nearly made a mess of that. Personally I would have CJ or Hendo going for the win today but I guess they want to give EBH a bit of a confidence boost.

Mind you. Procycling.no are always biased.

How about when he worked for Cavendish? Or Henderson in Eneco last year? And if you don't want to use him as the last lead-out man you could use his TT ability to pull from the kilometer mark or something. Wouldn't you say he might be of value in a lead-out?

On the other hand I don't want him to be a lead-out man(or a pure sprinter), and I hope he can sign for a team where they won't tell him to focus on his sprinting abilities like Brailsford is doing.

It also means "fu*k the world," but I assume most people are not meaning that when they write it here...:)

Have been looking at the translation of Sporza and lots of riders seem to be leaking. I assume this means a puncture rather than reporting each and every comfort stop:p:D
