So it looks like Farrar kinda moved in to Weylandt and bumped his handlebars, so Weylandt had a tank slapper and wiped out Farrar's back wheel as he went down.

Everyone but Cav and Hutarovich went down or were hindered.

Pretty impressive sprint by Galimzyanov after almost crashing.

Yea, looks like he needed to give him 2 more inches of room...

Farrar was not fantastically positioned, he was a wheel back from Cav I think so he probably would have only made 2nd or 3rd. Impossible to know though.

[edit] Whoopse, tell a lie, Farrar was locked in to Cav's wheel.

That was chaotic, seems like somebody sat up and everything was thrown completely, Sutton looks OK but got tangled up with Tyler. or was that Weylandt?

No, This is just Garmin being Garmin. Win in the unexpected places(Kerder at Sarthe), underperform when you should win.

Tough luck for Farrar. Hope this doesn't slow him down too much.

Garmins classic season really is going from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Sky really messed up their plan today, they did their usual super early lead out and rode so hard that they blew themselves apart. I'm not even sure what happened to EBH, he must have ended up way down the group. Sutton looked quick but he obviously panicked because he had no chance from so far out. Maybe he thought he had EBH on his wheel?

He looks like a huge talent. I'm not sure he'll be a factor in the biggest races this season, he still lacks some experience and I'm not even sure if Katyusha will take him to the GTs, but next year he really might have a shot at Cav's sprint supremacy.

I didn't watch it but it was mentioned in this thread that there was a crash earlier in the stage? Perhaps he was involved?

They are recapping the crashes now and I don't see him involved.

TGAK had to compromise his sprint to dodge Farrar's head, so he might have done even better otherwise.

He will do the Tour? I doubt he will do the Giro, it will all be about Rodriguez and their Italians.

He should be able to get some top5 finishes in the Tour, could go on to the Vuelta afterwards. He has shown great speed this past week and seems to be getting better every sprint. Also good to see that he's got the power after longer or harder stages.
