EBH went down earlier in the race and was briefly unconscious, is now at the hospital for a check. Could be out of P-R...

Oh wow, I missed that completely. I hope he's OK. He has some rotten luck with injuries.

I got the quinella

He will do the Tour? I doubt he will do the Giro, it will all be about Rodriguez and their Italians.

He should be able to get some top5 finishes in the Tour, could go on to the Vuelta afterwards. He has shown great speed this past week and seems to be getting better every sprint. Also good to see that he's got the power after longer or harder stages.

I'm thinking single day races...the not so "sh!tty" ones Cavs enters.
Tour wise...Maybe the Vuelta ?

Not good.
I reckon CJ Sutton might have to postpone his plans for the weekend.

A Mark Cavendish demonstration of the importance of being in the right place at the right time. So was Farrar to fair, but the Gods weren't smiling on him.

It will be interesting if he does go to Sky next year because their leadouts are highly impressive but rarely in the right postcode. He'd be better off on his own.

Isn't it strange how McEwen's head goes all floppy during these sprints? Anyone unfamiliar with this particular gentleman of the road might think he was trying to headbut his fellow competitors.

Cav showed that he can win without Renshaw or Goss again in a chaotic finish, I reckon he will take a lot from that.

The sky riders have great form at the moment though, but I'm not sure they were pulling too hard or somebody deliberately sat up and disrupted everything there.

Farrar? Weylandt went down 10 times as bad.

Didn't see it but man he is having bad luck this season ... I hope he'll be fine for the Giro! After already losing Wagner with a broken shinbone I believe Cancellara just lost Weylandt as well for Paris-Roubaix, so another blow to his team. It'll be interesting to see who will replace him, it's not like there is a big pool of cobbles specialists to choose from. My best guess would be Vigano or Clarke.

Terrible luck for EBH as well ...

Does anyone know how long it takes to recover from broken ribs? Could EBH be back for Amstel gold race, or is that too soon?

O'Grady broke a couple of ribs in early december and raced Tour down Under

Maybe only sporza. Schelderprisj is one of the flanders classics and they put in copyright claims on the Dwaars footage earlier this year, so WCC arent putting their races up, and neither are we (maybe, well, we had highlights up about ten minutes after the race, but will take them down if the link starts getting too many hits). The only one that seems to be is CanalF10 or somesuch user, but they will almost certainly get shut down at some point because they are using eurosport footage.

TGAK is improving. Last year he was 10th here which was his first real result as a pro and now he's 7th.

I'd say it's about the same, considering all the guys (Farrar, Weylandts, Sutton) that was out of the sprint due to falls (maybe even EBH and Boonen) . It's good but not fantastic.

EDIT: not to disparage his performance which was good, that wasn't my intentino

Damn, Sjef De Wilde (Veranda Wellems) crashed and went over a fence.
Result: Severe concussion, a mild brain haemorrhage and two fractured vertebrae...
:(

I predict Cavendish will go Tour de Suisse kamakaze and Boonen will go down. It seems like "boonen will go down" was a pretty good bet last year so I'll try again this year. Farrar likely gets caught up in it and EBH gets the win.

I was at least right about Boonen.
