Are you inviting or invited over for a coffee and a small Danish tomorrow on Pentecost, topcat? I'll be gathered with the rest of my family like usual, but with no Danish to eat (though my niece should count as a small Danish).
I'm away tomorrow doing archery with the kids. You and the Danes will have to listen to the "where did it all go wrong?" diatribe from Froomy and the bird.

I think forcing those two to have coffee with each other would be punishment enough for them.

Is there any indication of bad blood between them? From what I understand, Froome was quite happy for Fuglsang after the latter's recent win.

I don't think there's any bad blood between them, but I'm not sure how much they have to talk about. It's not like they're the most exciting people on the planet, though they've both seem to have lightened up over the years.

Perhaps a couples retreat with Loulou and Michelle could provide a nice bonding opportunity.

Right, I took a cycling related headline (well, part of it) and ran it through Google Translate a couple of times:

"Sometimes the bike has blood, mouth, and tears, so it is fun."

Sorry for accidentally creating a bit of horror story...

We'll I've claimed befiore that Michael Rasmussen would have turned himself into a bike in order to lose weight.

What was the original headline?

In 1990, I was standing on the side of Patrick's hill in Cork (25% - the tour de france should finish there some time). Eventual race winner and my favourite Dutch cyclist Erik Breukink tossed his water bottle. After a bit of shouldering I caught said bottle. I obviously kept it, I didn't drink the concoction which has evaporated over the 32 years. The tour of Ireland, when racing was racing.
