Millar knows where the bodies are buried.

If the BC establishment don't keep Il Millarisimo sweet and provide him with the opportunities he believes he's earned and deserves, he might just get 'anti-doping' on Sky's ass. All unsaid. Doesn't need to be said. All good. Jobs for the boys. Jobs for the whiny little prima donna throw their bikes over the line at the Angliru shitebags.

I luuurve David Millar. Why was he never BBC Sports Personality of the Year?

I'm sure he would have voted for himself.

At least 3 times.
paroxysm of jocularity... thnx DW :D

good grief, must be legit. its Davey boy millar, where is my Gucci jacket? Its Millar Time.

hey dave, you realise that beer tastes like cats piss and since you are a refined man I thought you would be be more a scotch man, or a petrus/dÝquem wine drinker?
rumour has it that he tried to trademark this...
Also likes MC Hammer too and secretly has some Sinbad pants of his own

dont knock the Hammer pants. The Hammer pants/harem pants/drop crotch/ pants are underrated, it let down the Bruno Mars dancers at Superbowl 50. The leather/vinyl just was not the same as MC Hammer's supporting dancers in the harem pants!

If you really want to know what young David prefers, my friend,
you could join one of the "Ultimate Cycling" weekends in April at
the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel in Mallora. After your ride (with a
Maserati support vehicle) wearing your David Millar Chpt.III Castelli
kit (included) and a spa recovery session you will join David for dinner
each evening. Some might like to chat about his professional cycling
career but I'm sure he would answer any questions you have about his
choice of alcoholic beverages. :)
Is Mallorca the best holiday destination for someone with an allergy
to sunlight? I would think that young David might prefer somewhere
with a milder climate and less chance of exposure to high levels of Ultra
Violet radiation. I'm sure that he would appreciate the free advertising from
such an esteemed forum contributor though, my friend ;)

David is one of the speakers at the anti-doping summit
to be held in London in March. No doubt many on this
forum will be attending this very important conference.
http://www.cecileparkconferences.com/tackling-doping-sport-2016/speakers

Great news, nice to see Bird and Bird are there as well. They are the authors of Seb's attempted IAAF intimidation of Seppelt.

Read the quote the guy has for himself

"The quality of advice is top-class. We feel extremely comfortable in any guidance we receive from them and they’ve always managed to reach agreement with other parties.”

So the partner and Head of Sport at Bird and Bird wrote to Seppelt warning him not to publish the copy of IAAF CEO Nick Davies to Papa Diack telling him they had a good plan to deal with minimising the impact of the Russian doping scandal. Amongst other things they were going to use Seb's PR company ! A great plan !

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/35126635

But of course Seppelt ignored Bird and Bird's letter on behalf of the IAAF and published. And then Davies stepped down, or anyway stepped down until it is quiet enough to re-engage him.

http://www.sportsintegrityinitiative.com/iaafs-lawyers-warn-seppelt-not-to-publish-2013-email/

"Top-class" - who could ask for anything more. The're all cleans, I tell you, all cleans. Lance has never tested positive, never, never, never !

I think a summary of that letter is :" Don't go publishing internal memos you don't own them, that was private correspondence between friends. Davies (IAAF) was writing to Diack (Dad is President of the IAAF) whilst he was at work on salaried time, but it wasn't official IAAF business - so there !

"Top class" any dictator would value advice like that. David will be in good company. I am sure he will fit in with many there.

good spot, freddy. amazing.
these antidoping summits are the worst in terms of hypocrisy.
it's where the guys who fill their pockets by playing both sides typically hook up.
the zorzolis, the saugys, the bermons, and yes, the millars and vaughterss.
as benotti says the guys that really matter don't get an invite.

Have to say I take it all back about PSB Millar - he's excellent commentating for ITV4......i,ve accepted the posh affected voice - his input is really interesting, he tells the viewers how the race is being ridden...team tactics, what the DS will be saying in the earpiece - i,m now a fan of posh Millar !

The Scottish accent is far from posh nor is it the Queen's English

It is one of the most recognisable accents in the English-speaking world - but the distinctive Scot pronunciation could soon be confined to history.

Experts found that many young Scots are unable to emphasise the 'R' at the end of words such as in "car", "bar" and "farm". Instead, they swallow the sound to soften their accent. Scottish linguists have blamed the influx of English and American TV and radio for the change.

Other experts blame Scottish broadcasters trying to emulate the Queen's English such as at BBC Scotland.

Texted my mate after 20mins of stage one of the TDY and said I wanted to smash my TV in already listening to Millar.

At the end I didnt mind him and some of his insight into the tactics etc were interesting views. A total fresh air of Kirby, So basically its choosing between Fred West or Myra Hindley  Although he did say there was no race radios despite riders clearly with an ear piece in.

When they did mention the Yates doping situation Millar seemed to *** his pants though as if not saying a bad word or anything.

Anti-doping hero my arse.

Jack Robertson ; WADA

“Those involved in running sport are former athletes, so somehow I figured that they would have honor and integrity. But the people in charge are basically raping their sports and the system for self-interest. Sport is seriously broken.”

Looking at you Millar. No that you give a ***!

Millar tweets

"Today is the opening ceremony of the Olympics. PLEASE READ THIS, IT MATTERS:"

linking to this article: https://www.propublica.org/article/olympics-top-investigator-secret-efforts-undermine-russian-doping-probe

Millar then tweets

"Reference my previous tweet, I believe the underlying problem in all of this is the chronic cronyism of the IOC."

how is the irony of this not lost on him?

Millar knows very well what he is doing. Plays the game and learnt it from JV. The hypocrisy is he is part of the 'raping sport' bit in that article. Millar is a dooche!
