Until recently I have only had a passing interest in cycling i.e. watch the Tour on channel 4/itv but was under the impression that he was a fairly respected and popular domestique (even if he raced with LA)? Would be interested to know otherwise.

Well, Voigt was complaining a lot after stage 2 and 3 of the Tour when they were struck by the crashes. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that comment and I kind of agreed that it could be seen that way.

At any rate, I don't care what the reason is that someone dislikes a rider only if they do.

Ah I see. Well with some of the horrid chrashes Jens have taken over the years I can understand his stance on not wanting to promote stages where crashes are basically unavoidable. But thats moot I can see.

Yes, but he is one of the borderline cases where he might not be high profile enough for everyone to know him well enough to have been able to make a fair assessment of him. They will only be considered once/if all well known top riders have been eliminated.

I don't like Gilbert, I don't hate him, but I always find myself rooting against him in races. I don't know why, he does everything right and anyone else riding the same way would be one of my favourite riders. There is something I don't like about him, I just don't have a clue what it is.

Ah, yeah there was that But thats proper anger not some whinging excuse for not performing. It made me like the guy even more, because he cares about his loyality and does not understand why people do not respect it. Also notice how he says Laance Aaaarmstrong in a quite condensending tone, I love that

Anyway, some people don't like upfront alround good guy Jens I guess. So lets eleminate all the other guys so Txurruka can get the honors.

I hate Gilberts Earring, but I know absolutely nothing of the man, all the interviews are always french and I dont understand a word.
